“We’re teachers of the funk… We’re the renegades of funk”


last week before my shoot in Laguna Beach, there was a funk band, called Ancestree, playing on the beach. They had a cool vibe and were fun to listen to so I hung around to listen. I took some photos while I was there. Last Tuesday ended up being one of the most productive "Photography" days I've had in a long time....

“I Picture Myself Right There On Some Beach, Somewhere…”


On Tuesday, I had a shoot in Laguna Beach, California. So I went down a few hours early to avoid traffic and enjoy the day. It ended up being a beautiful day to shoot on the beach. There was a band playing and lots of people. I particulary enjoyed the Paddle Boarders in the late afternoon sun. I had some fun doing so silhouette...

Up On The Roof….


I've been helping a great photographer out the last couple months. He has a beautiful studio that he built himself. In his studio we have been shooting roofing tiles and electrical engineering parts among other things. Seeing how well he lights things has taught me a lot and hopefully he will continue to teach me more....
