Love and marriage, They go together like… Film and Camera?

Last month I photographed my first wedding… Not gonna lie it was pretty nerve racking. It is a lot of responsibility and not something you can really go back and fix if you screw up. The part that made me the most nervous wasn’t the ceremony or the reception, it actually was the set up shots of the bridal party. Lets be honest, I’ve worked with friends in small groups for shoots & crying little kids for team photos but keeping track of about 20 people, mostly adults, during an event, like a wedding is insane.

Once everyone settled down and got into the flow of things, it went pretty well.

Ok, so they were perfect but still… (jk)

The reception was just a matter of figuring out the color balance and going to work… I wish. So the lighting changed every 30 seconds as the sun set, people moved, and I moved around the room but I worked through it, while others worked it on the dance floor.

Chris and Rachele thank you very much for letting me photograph your wedding. Congratulations and many happy years together!!
